Day 15

Some of the guys used my car to get coffee and they brought me back a latte and it was most delicious! It was from Coffee Tree Roasters. So I went into work early today. I went in at 1pm. It made the day go by really quickly. After work I went to the gym and ran for 3.5 miles. I was very proud of myself. I still can not get my TomTom to work! Arr! I did a few things and then Tim came home. We were both pretty tired so after he ate we went to bed. Nothing too exciting. Its cold, rainy and gray......I am ready for some sunshine, or maybe another latte will do :)

2 weeks

So I cut my thumb but I will get to that later.  We woke up and went to church. Well, we got lost first...the GPS took us all over the place and then we finally made it.  It was so nice to get to church and I really enjoyed it.  It is the church and Phil and Elizabeth went to since they are from here and all.  So After church we went to first watch and "brunch".  Dale rode with us and went to brunch since Lucy is gone for two weeks.  When we got home I went grocery shopping and Tim took a nap. Once I returned it was time for the Platinum BBQ.
One of the guys jumped off the dock and into the river and swam across.  Wasn't the best idea but it was entertaining.  The guys at the yacht club came out and said "Do you guys have a boat here"?? Anyways, I guess they didn't like our entertainment.  A group of guys game over to play XBOX and what a sight that was, it was pretty entertaining.  They got hungry so I made everyone taco's. I cut my thumb when I was cleaning one of my knives. I am telling ya, you have got to be careful with those things!  A lot of the guys left but some stayed to play for a bit. Scott helped me with the dishes and cleaning up.  So I guess back to work it is for 6 days and one day of rest.  That's a whole new perspective when you work 6 days a week. For the guys its not like one day is more lax then another...they are all long and intense so be praying for them. I hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday! Next Sunday is Mothers Day!

DAY 13

I WORKED OUT AT THE GYM.  I WORKED ON FIXING MY TOM TOM.  I WORKED IN THE OFFICE.  I MADE BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER, PROTEIN SHAKES, COFFEE, TEA, AND CLEANED UP.  THAT WAS MY DAY.  TIM DID GOOD. YEAH FOR SUNDAY.....WE GET A BBQ~ GOOD NIGHT!

12 Days

This is where Tim and I went to breakfast on our date morning.  It is called Coca Cafe and it so delicious! I love it.  First off the coffee is amazing.  It is the best place I have gotten just a cup of coffee (other then Jamaica) and was like wow, that is really good coffee.  I would go there just to sit and have coffee, over starbucks....anyway.  So We ate and had a nice time together.  When we got back I Tim got ready for the day and made lunch and such and then Tim went to the meeting and I went to the gym. That was my 4th time to go to the gym so I was very proud of myself :).  I washes the towels today, as per Tim's request and called about our mortgage, my tom tom, renting out house, did pilates, organized the closets/ rearranges....as Tim requested, activated the PNC card, and called T-Mobile about Tim's rebate for his black berry! Then I got ready and went to work. Oh I also talked to Isaac for a second.  So I went to work and read my devotional and the automatic millionaire.  I have only read a few chapters but it is really good. I got it for Christmas and was excited but I have read so many books on finances but here is the thing.  It is so good to refresh your memory and just brush up and learn a few new things.  Always humble yourself.  So I worked and then Tim called, he was at home already!  Wow, I didn't even make him dinner.  He wanted chicken nachos so I figured that might be better done fresh.

Day 11

My calves are so sore.  As soon as me feet hit the floor, I was like ohhh my goodness, no gym for me today.  I met with Ryan this morning and he taught me to drive his car! I was so excited! I was able to do it too! I drove down to the area with the grocery store and such and back.  I was so proud of myself.  I wasn't perfect but it'll do.  I called about a mortgage thing and such and talked to Jordana a lot today.  I did pilates and went to www.supercook.com.  You say what you have in your kitchen and then it tells you what you can make.  Its pretty awesome.  I'm not gonna lie.  Tomorrow is date morning! I am so excited.  I want to go out, hopefully Tim is up for it.  I have a few placed I would love to go....at least go get a coffee or something. There was  a huge bee outside our balcony window.  I tried to take a pic but I could never quit get him, but it was HUGE! I made a Rosemary chicken...I will let you know how Tim likes it.  I think he will like it.  Lucy is going to Argentina tomorrow but will be back on May 12th.  I am looking forward to Sunday. I started reading the automatic millionaire a book my dad got me for Christmas.  I read an awesome devotional.  I will have to write it our for you! I'm gonna go get Tim's dinner ready...he is will be incredibly exhausted.....Goodnight! :)

Day TEN

I bet you thought the tour of the house was day 10 huh....surprise! Tim woke up and said lets go to the gym so we headed down and I ran and did some weights.  Ryan messaged me and said he was going to teach me to drive his car! Its a manual!! (I will give updates about that!) I am a bit at a loss as to what happen after that but I did some personal business stuff, took and posted pics and then the other ladies and I had a picnic but it started to rain so we went inside.  I held a baby and it threw up on me....I went to work and it was pretty busy.  I got so hungry.  When Tim came home we watched a movie and I fell asleep....after having a cup of coffee. Then once the movie was over, I was wide awake and Tim was fast asleep.

So Ryan and Tim did 3 accounts! I'm not going to lie, that's kinda a big deal.  Its a little gloomy, a little rainy, I want to go to a coffee shop.  This color inspired  to make eggplant parm.

Casa de la Jooste

There they are ladies and gentlemen...vertical blinds! Refer to day __.  So you guess it! Gee you are so smart! If only I could obtain your dynamic whit, charming charm and essence of detail that complies harnesses the intelligence of which you possess.  This is not just a living room, like at our home in Florida, it is a man cave.  Yes, you heard it right.  Now can your tell a difference of what Tim inhabits and where I spend my time.....see below!

Here it is! In all its splendor and glory.  The dinning table.  Of course I spend A LOT and boy do I mean a lot of time in the kitchen I do spend a lot of time here. Eating, paying bills, getting online. Reading etc.  Rarely and I in the living room and the bed room is ok but I happen to be very fond of this little corner. They only this it is missing is a cup of coffee and me in the chair!  The lamp is for Tim because there is no lighting over the table and he doesn't like to eat in the dark but I think it adds a tint of warmth with a subtleness that makes you feel more at home on the cloudy Pittsburgh days, such as today!
Here she is, not miss  America but the kitchen.  We eat pretty much every meal at home.  So I spend a lot of time in here. I don't mind it at all. Take note of the spice rack, kitchen utensils, cutting board and knives :)  All wonderful wedding gifts.   Jordana's pot and pans have gotten so much use, but for showing purposes they are nearly tucked way (cleaned first of course) under the cabinet while they rest before another round of cooking.
These are a close up of the Knives.  I felt that due to how many times I have been cut and left there in the kitchen bleeding that they deserved to be show off a bit.  I think that they having been begging for attention.  Longing for someone to notice them.  Well rest assured little knives that I see you, notice you and don't enjoy it when you cut me! I live you very much and over the years I know we will become great friends.  I already adore you.  It was love at first slice.  (buy some and you too can have a love like this!  WARNING like any relationship, it has its ups and downs but the joy of its pleasantries are worth the work and occasional pain.)

This is the view from our balcony.  Until I took this pic it didn't register that you can see the water from there! I was so excited!  Below us the the right is the offices. Neal and Susan are directly across from us and Ryan is in the building diagonal from us.

This is our bed room.  Uhm, I has a bed, a dresser to the wall on the left, a night and lamp (as pictured) and in front of the bed is the closed.  On the right wall is the door to the bathroom.  On the left wall before entering the bed room is the "linen-pantry closet".  I am most grateful because most people don't have any closets, other then the one is the bed room!  So even though my sheets and towels night smell like spices, onions, and protein powers, I am eternally grateful!  Oh on the same wall as the dresser is a window...which overlooks the walk way to all the doors, where bright lights shine when the sun goes down, hence Tim's desire for curtains!
This is the lovely little pillow we received as a wedding gift and I love it. It will match our wedding back home.  :)

This is our bathroom.  It works out well for those type of purposes.  It hasn't let me down once. Always right there when I need it.  The door (pictured) is where leads to the bedroom. There is another door in front of the toilet that leads to the kitchen!  You can get up and pee in the middle of the night grab a mid-night snack and circle back around through the main entrance of the room! (someone is so clever! Why didn't I think of that!)

Day Nine

So I decided it would be really impressive if I posted all of these with Roman numerals but just because I paid attention in elementary school and learned them doesn't mean everyone else is so fortunate, so for their sakes, because I know I have millions of reads and crazy fans, I won't...for their sakes! Fans are also requesting pictures so I will endeavor to post more. No Promises!

I went to the bank today and got Tim on the account.  Because he is a "Legal Alien" I had to bring them a copy of his passport and foreign resident card.  The ladies at the bank looked at our wedding pictures and marveled.   So I finished the laundry and went to the gym.  I ran 3 miles...again today. I am quite proud of myself.

Today is my Mom Birthday!  She doesn't look her age and that's all that matters!  I spoke to her for a while and then I began looking up cabin for Christmas.  I am destined to get to Oklahoma for Christmas this year.  Once Ryan and Miss V get married I realize the change of Christmas in Oklahoma a slimmer chance.  So I looked up cabins and e-mailed them to the fam.  Today has flown by! All that laundry makes time fly by.  I went to the office and work was so busy! It was good but busy.  I finished reading a book today which was good and made Tim some pasta for dinner. He did good today, got 2! He is 6th in the company as of this morning! That's amazing.  I am so proud of him.

So I am going to write a book about the Truths to Victoria's Secrets....this is what I decided today.  If men would listen and not just look at the 1/2 naked people they would get a clue. My stove is making strange noises......Back the my thoughts, I am learning a lot being by myself most of the day.  Of course I get on facebook and other devices that we use for  obsessive communication but at the end of the day if its work, laundry, cooking, cleaning or running I have a lot of time to think and I think its a good thing because I am getting to learn a lot about myself and hopefully help others as well.... hence my book idea.

So I am probably burning Tim's dinner.  Oops! I have the excuse now of, "Well, I though you were going to be here sooner and I was trying to keep it hot for you" ..... JK, thats not a good wife.  So a train just, what do trains do came by or went by I mean cars drive by but a train doesn't train by, who know, maybe it does but anyways its whistle blew and scared me!! That's the point I was trying to make. Stop Laughing...no really.  So the wife, girlfriends and significant other are having a picnic tomorrow at 4pm.  Hopefully it won't be raining, but I am looking forward to it none the less.  One of the best feelings in the world is when something pops when you need it to, for instance my neck, it just popped and it was amazing.

Day Eight

So on the agenda today....the bank.  Breakfast has been made and there is milk in the house and the car is working.  I put gas in the car, went to the little organic shop for some oats and banana's (I ran out this morning) and then went to PNC.  Since there are not bank of america's I need to have some where I can deposit our checks!

After returning from that quite pleasant area and resisting the urge to try one of the local coffee shops I went to the gym and ran.  I ran 3 miles today which was my goal.  Lucy was there with Isaac.  We had a nice chat and Isaac and I played with the big exercise balls.  After working out I needed to pay bills....what fun and joy.  Tim is requesting curtains for the bedroom.  I think I would like to get some we can use in the TV room when we get home. Oh how I would love to rip off the white vertical blinds hanging back home.  I don't like those things.  Good idea but just tacky.  I just think there are so many other ways to cover a window in a practical and tasteful way.

I started the laundry and realize that the wash basin in much smaller then the one at home and I can put in about 1/3 of what I would normally....that means more washing. It feels like tripple the work.  I went to work at 6pm today.  Work was good, not bad for a Monday with new turf.  I got back and Tim arrived shortly.  So I'm going to hang out wit him.  Our time is pretty precious.  Goodnight!

Day Seven

Ok so I am sure you are looking at this pic saying whaaatt???  Well here is the deal. Tim and I woke up and put revival.com on and then John called and said him and Ryan had gone to like  a flee market type thing and they had met some interesting people so they headed  to our apartment and this is the form we found John in.  Ryan bough a cross, old tie pit and little mug for Andy....anyways.  We headed to fix the car finally!  :)  John jumped the car and the executive decision was the battery was dead!   We then went to the apartment and had some breakfast and then we went to auto zone where the lady that helped us was in a womans football league.  Seriously they played hard core.  So that was interesting.  We then went to the house and showered and headed to best buy before we had to pick up Mark.

We were on our way and then the way we needed to go was blocked off.  There was accidents and construction so instead of taking the detour we ended up driving all over the place due to our lack of communication and understanding but it was a good learning experience.  The detour was crazy we went through the back roads of Pennsylvania......yeah nothing more needs to be said.  We were so late we didn't make it to best buy but we did get make like 45 minutes after his flight came in and then we went to best buy and Tim got the rest of the stuff for his Xbox and then we went to Primanti Brothers for lunch.  They are like a famous Pittsburgh thing.  They put cole slaw and fries on your sandwich.  It wasn't Katz in New York but it was an experience none the less!

This is the Pic from when we were getting the Car fixed!!!!

Once we were done eating we then went to Walmart to get Mark all settle in and then went grocery shopping! YEAH! FINALLY, after TWO DAYS of waiting I got MILK!! AHHH! What a relief.  I had some coffee and it was amazing.

I have decided that I am addicted to caffeine.  Between drinking tea several times a day and then drinking coffee in Jamaica, it is in full force.  Back to the day, I unpacked the groceries and such and made Tim dinner and then Ryan and John came over to play Xbox.  Tim was like a little kid on Christmas.  It was pretty cute.  John brought our Tv and I got the mail.  Some how we are getting Latina Magazine ??????? I have no clue! How does that even happen.

So I need to open a Bank account because we don't have a Bank of America with in 100 miles of here!  I also have a goal of learning to drive a stick shift by, well by very soon!  As soon as I can.  I am sure there is more I need to but I can't remember.  Its back to work already....again.  Today had gone by too  fast but it was been a good day.  It did have some very frustrating parts mostly involving cars and driving but all is well here. I am going to up it at the gym and run 3 miles now 3 times a week.  I also want to do pilates 3 times a week as well. I will be working some in the morning so the schedule will be a little different but it will all work out.

Funny Story of the day:  We were all outside while John was looking at the car and Dale and Lucy drove up to take their trash to the dumpster.  Isaac wanted to go look at the car engine so and when it was time to go Lucy said "Hey Pumpkin, Lets go!".  Isaac repeats,  "Hey Pumpkin, Lets go"!  So naturally a 2 year old calling his dad pumpkin is pretty cute!

dAy SiX

we need milk! Yes you heard me right! We have enough for coffee this morning and that's it! It practically a tragedy! AHH!! Well, Tim had to be at the office at 9am so we woke up and 8 and got everything going....almost milkless! After Tim left I cleaned up the kitchen, had some oatmeal with a few drop of milk that were left and then got on the internet. I am not sure what I looked at but I got on there for a bit. I cleaned the house today. I also organized my corner that had all of our important documents and such that I didn't want to deal with. I went to work early. Tim is doing really well! and Dale got one!! YEAH!! I am so looking forward to Sunday. I know we will be going grocery shopping and to best buy! John is coming tomorrow which is exciting! He is bringing the tv and the MAIL! I am excited about getting all our mail...don't ask why. Oh I called the maintenance man today and he came and made our hot watter hotter! Tim took a cold shower this morning. I hope he is doing ok. I know I am exhausted and I am sure if I feel like this, he does as well. I am starving too. Its ok becuase I needed to drop a couple. I ate at like 4! Oh well. So I'm ready for bed, but they are still knocking, I'm working and listening to Pandora...........We will see what this evening holds. I looked up something things to do here and I am excited about them. Right now I want to sleep and tea or coffee. I had a good chat with my fam today :) I was feeling lonely so it was good. My parents have been planting a garden. Well I'm out for now, if I have anything exciting that happens between now and bedtime, I'll fill ya in...to whoever is out there and takes time to read these. :) Much love to all!

SJ

Day Five

So Day 5...all days start out the same.  I went to the gym so I met my goal to go 3 times this week! Oh wait! Day 5 was Friday, it was date morning :) So Tim wanted to sleep in but I wanted to get up early and spend as much time as we possibly could together!  I had found a place for us to go, it was called What's Cookin' at Casey's!  We got Ryan's car and headed out.  It was only 10 minutes away and guess what it took 10 minutes to get there. Its just across the river we live on.  It was in the cute little town.  It reminded me of a Cracker Barrel but it was a mom and pop's place.  I enjoyed it and I found an little organic shop! I was so excited. It small but the do carry most everything you could want.  We bought a few small things and headed home.

Once we got home then the day went on showing, breakfast, making lunches, etc. I then went to the gym when Tim went to the meeting.  When I got back I ordered my mom's b-day present because it is next week!  I did a few other things and then....did TAXES! So you can imagine that wasn't fun but most of the work was done before so all is well. I got ready and headed to work.  We had a funny thing happy with the Internet and then Susan left....so it was my first time there by myself.  It went pretty good, if I do say so myself! Tim got 2 deals!! (YEAH!!!)

So after work I went back and made Tim dinner and waited and waited and waited some more.  I was a little annoyed but I don't have much patience.  Tomorrow they have to be at the office at 9!! Ahh! Oh well all will be fine. We watch and episode of the office and then headed to bed.

Our car is still not fixed :( The weather was really nice though :) We had a good date morning :) and we didn't watch any stupid movies :) so It was a good day all in all.  I got on the couples website and started replying to posts on the message board.  Please ask questions about wedding and stay there and such.  I know I would have wanted someone to respond to my questions.

Oh check our Pandora....if you like music, you will like it!

Point of reference!

Ok so this is Neal and Susan.  They run the office here in Pittsburgh...well actually Tampa but we are stationed in Pittsburgh.  Neal is the manager and Susan runs the office where I work.  Just so everyone can have a point of reference about who we are talking about.

This pic is from when we went jeeping in Moab! What a good time.

Day Four

So I am back to writing the day after....we went to Ryan's last night to watch a movie! And a horrible one at that but we will get to that later!

Ok so let's see here Thursday.  We woke up had bfast and all of that then Tim went to the meeting I was about to head to the gym and he called and said our car was dead!! AHHH! He was a car group driving and it wouldn't start so, therefore, he was not driving and I wasn't going anywhere either! I went to the gym and then had lunch.  I then registered for the warrantee for our pots and pans and knives.  I also organized all the boxes in the closet and fit our suitcases in.  We are saving all the packaging for when we head home. So I them looked for a breakfast place. On Friday we are having a date morning. :) I am so so excited.  Tim usually works late so instead of going on a date at night we will do it in the morning. I am excited about it because I like breakfast!  So I search and found a little place which I'm pretty excited about.

I send a lot of people our wedding photos!  Yeah! I think they are amazing!  We have gotten a lot of good feed back and how could we not? Tony and Lesley are great.

So I am enjoying getting into more of a routine.  I am able to go to the gym and eat smaller meals several times a day and drink my green tea and such.  I need to finish our taxes.... that will have to wait for Friday.

Work was good. I am getting the hang of things....not perfect but it is getting there. So Tim got two sales today! He had 3 but one canceled.  Anyways that's really great.  After work I went and got Tim's dinner and we went to Ryan and watched the Wrestler.....don't see that movies. Its bloody and sad and ahhhh I just didn't like it. When things start to go ok, then it all goes down hill. there is 5% of pleasantries and all the rest I was shielding my eyes or feeling like I was going to throw up!  If you like watching men have heart-attacks, get disowned by their families, rejected by everyone, get staple gunned (??? Yeah I know???) and then practically kill themselves this is the movie for you.  I will take Tim and Ryan playing Xbox any day! For me I did not like this movie.  I don't mind fighting and blood and some deep moments but really give me a break.  The 5% of happiness to 95% of sad depressing nasty moments was not worth it.  I am going to get a chick flick and make then watch at least 5 before they get to pick out another movie....they owe me at least 5.  There is this thing called Red Box where you can rent movies for $1 well $1.09 with tax....Tim thinks its the greatest thing ever! OK so anyways we went to sleep late and we have to get up early for our date morning!  I am so excited! It was pretty chilly so hopefully it will warm up. It was a beautiful day though! The sun was signing and such!

Oh Cody got his first sale! Mark got one that didn't go through but still good job! and Scott got one too! We are praying for Dale! We I know he will get one.  Its a bit of a learning curve so please pray for the team and all our guys!

Day Three

OK so today is day TRES and I am writing on day tres because Tim is still not home and its 11:14 to be exact.  So I had a day.  I am pretty tired but Tim still has to eat dinner.  So I woke up....had breakfast, watched training DVD's with Tim, made him lunch and a snack ETC.  then he went to the meeting.  I went to the gym which was wonderful.  When I got back I got ready to run some errands.  I had to return a trash can and exchange a rug and other things.  Bed Bath and Beyond, Target and Wal-Mart were on the list.  So its pretty cold today, colder then yesterday! So there is no Bank of America near here which is rediculous there is like 3000 in Florida and 4000 in Cali, you would think they could send one, just ONE here! oh well. So I got ready, ate lunch and then headed to target.  Tim and I went to one but I punch one in on the GPS and it said another one was closer so I took that route!  Wow I was lost, driving all over the place.  The roads here are narrow, full of cars, and hilly.....none of which I am used to!  I couldn't quite tell where my turns were (due to the small streets!) and there were stop signs in placed I don't think there should be and vice versa, how I didn't get a ticket I don't know.  The speed limit everywhere is 25......uhm I know the streets are small but 25??? Anyways I felt I like I was going to throw up....or something I was sick to my stomach driving around (all dazed and confused!) but it was enjoyable.  A little adventure by myself I guess you could say.  I had to be home for work at 6 so I was like well I have 3 hours...I hope I can make it!  I finally got to the Target!! Yeah!! (much rejoicing was in order!) Then I made my returns, went to BB&B that was conveniently next door....(how nice I though!) and then made my way back home (in record time) now that I knew what ways not to go! If there was a way not to go....I found it!  So it was nice to see some of the city.  The houses are cool, nothing like Florida.  They have character and such and aren't all cookie cutter (right now I would love chocolate or a cookie something!).  Anyways its a cool place and I will enjoy it more once I get used to it.  Tim will have the car most days for work but what ev. Its cool.

So I got a new bathroom rug and all my returns were a breeze! I ran by wal-mart and then headed home to make dinner and go to work. Work was good, I am getting used to everything but it will be fine.  It was pretty slow, so pray the guys do better tomorrow.  I will be working the rest of the week at 6pm and then next week I will do some morning training.  I keep thinking its Thursday but its Wednesday.

We got our wedding pics and they are so amazing. I posted them on myspace and facebook and such and got like 20 comments in 5 minutes....pretty cool. I enjoyed reading them and hope to get more. Tony and Lesley are amazing :) simply the best.

So I just got the message from Tim and he will be here in T Minus 22 so I gotta have dinner hot and ready!  I will post the site for the reign 7 photo blog and send the link to everyone for the pics tomorrow!  YEAH!

Much love and good night!

Day Two

OK so I am sure that you can tell that when I say Day Two I am writing on day three but what ev! OK so we woke up and didn't have deodorant, tooth brush and such so I ran to wal-mart and I didn't get lost, (I was so proud)! So we have breakfast and I made Tim's lunch and such...He goes to the meeting I start unpacking.  I ran to BB&B to replace a broken plate and get a few more things from Wal-mart.  The place is FINALLY looking decent....then our luggage came!  So it was a disaster again! I got everything in place and functional.  Its not perfect but its getting there.  I made Tim some dinner and then went to the office for my first day of training/work.  I think I will like it! No complaints.  So it doesn't sound that exciting but hey there was a lot to unpack and such!  So after working the boys can home and I hung out for a bit and then went back to the apartment and then Tim came home.  I gave him dinner and then we crashed.

Notes from the Day:  Henckel knives are amazing.  They are worth every penny.  I I love all the gifts from the wedding. Its so nice to use everything.  I need to file a claim for the luggage.  It looks like they beat it with a sledge hammer a few times!  I mean it was rough before but its pretty bad!  Even though its cold it doesn't feel that cold.  I did an apple day and am looking forward to oatmeal and coffee in the morning! Yeah I think that's about it.
